Bournemouth air show - (56k warning)

considering it was free entry it was damn good!

They had:

1) Lancaster
2) Spitfire
3) P52 Mustang
4) B17
5) The Blades
6) Wing Walkers
7) Red Arrows
8) Vulcan
9) Typhoon

best bits was the Fulcan, Withers was Capt which was great to see after reading the book. During most if the show people where milling about here and there, during the Vulcan, EVERYONE just stopped..... was fantastic to see, and the noise!

Gent next to me said as it did its first fly pass (at idle throttle) "ohh thats silent"

Then Withers opened the taps for a climb  8-)

My heart went all funny, when the red arrows finished with a cracking fly-by and the the guy talking us through the flight (who worked for Red Arrows), said...

"Ladies and Gentlemen, we are the red arrows, and we represent the best of British, thanks, and good afternoon.

What make camera /size lens were you using Tunnie.

Am ready for a camera upgrade from my Fuji S5000 the the zoom is no where good enough for my fure plans.

Using a Nikon D80, with a 70-300 Nikkon Lens.

I need to do some work on some of the pictures, as the ones i posted have been un-editied. If you put them to full res, the detail you can see inside the Vulcan bomb bay is amazing!

Just spotted XH558 as it flew over Four Marks heading south. Shoreham followed by another appearance at Bournemouth, I guess. 8-)

Was it convoy with another 3 Kevin?

I've been out watching. Seen a few go over but they all seem to be too high for Bournemouth so could just be regular traffic
