Superglue?  Should i use a bit of silicone grease in the axle bearings?
You don't "glue" anything, it should be a snug fit.
If you do have to use any type of adhesive, I'd personally use a bit of bathroom sealant (wiping the excess off the axle after the crown gear & wheels are in place).

There isn't exactly what I would call a snug fit.
RTV doesn't sound a bad idea.
Are we suggesting the green stuff or the black stuf from Vx?  :)
