Had a battle with the council over 2 sycamore trees next to our house.
They pruned them but would'nt cut them down.
Had a tree expert in and he said they are woodland trees any should'nt be planted on housing estates, they are a pain in the arse and reseed everywhere in spring. I'm still removing the bloody saplings that grow from last year.
The council chopped down all of the horse chestnut trees though saying it's a health and safety measure. To stop the kids climbing them [smiley=thumbdown.gif]

May be because Aphids suck the sap from the leaves then anything underneath gets sticky ?

Yes Mike, as fun is dangerous you know!! ::) ::) ::)

But any little fun left to us by the government must be paid for handsomely, and so it will be taxed until it no longer seems like fun anymore! >:( >:( >:(

In 2003 swmbo reversed the Mig estate with tow bar into a huge Horse Chestnut tree at the caravan site, she blamed the dog for sitting up and being in the way. To date Miss Vamps keeps reminding her of this event :D :D :D
