I could do total closure too but not bothered, although it would only take a few minutes to splice in I suppose.

When I wired mine I chose the lock and unlock pulses provided from the driver's door solenoid. I'm going to get my Haynes book now to see where I went wrong...

To do: Replace brake discs and pads; adjust already replaced shoes; check for leaks in oil cooler, cambelt area, crank seals, sump, dipstick; replace osf door; replace a tyre; clean, MOT.

Right I'll have to see how I've wired it in then, as it did have options for both ground and positive and I can't remember which I used!

most of the wireing is in the drivers kick panel and behind the fuse box
behind the kick panel is only for the central locking

everything else has to be done behind the fuse box and a bit of work on the original factory fit immobiliser and alarm :y

Was just thinking the same thing.

Set the heater to hot before you get out in winter then get into a lovely warm car on an icy morning.  (Can you set it to remotely turn on the HRW when you are in a rush.  ;D ;D

Well done Nick, what sort/make of alarm wasit.

Good stuff Nick.  I have one concern though.

Love the idea it's all locked and remote starting to warm up.  Get in and put the key in the ignition to unlock the steering I assume.  I would be scared of getting in as per normal and turning to start mode whilst engine is running.  Did it once by mistake and didnt like the noise it made.  Is there a way to prevent this. ?  Olus without the key neing in the ignition on warmup is the dash active, handbrake loght and rev counter etc.
