93 v :-? I think its below any expectation,
Of course it's way below any expectation, but as the manufacturer of my PSU (Silverstone) claimed it would deliver 1000W across the 4 rails while working anywhere between 90V and 250V, I just had to test it to see if it was true (and 93V is close enough to 90V for me).
In my experience, a sudden change of input voltage can cause PC to crash as the PSU doesn't always recover quick enough, or worse still, spikes. This is why I tend to use UPS.
I had a Silverstone PSU3 or 4 yrs ago, binned it (after Sammy educated it) as was unimpressed. Wasn't a biggie, around 530W or similar iirc. Chucked an old cheapie back in, and stability returned.
My mum has the worlds worse electrical supply, its all over the place. Power cuts happen at least once a month, and normally kills something when power returns. She has had zero success in legal routes. That said, its probably her fault - she has a 3 phase leccy boiler
