From Tuesday, it's all change in Scottish as new laws come into force.

No more happy hours either

the police have pretty much admitted that they can't enforce these laws, just another layer of misery for publicans - the smoking ban killed off so many pubs up here, add in a recession and now this - i think there's bigger problems to tackle, although alcohol abuse is an issue - these measures won't change the fact that the average teenager gets tanked up on cheap booze at home before hitting the pub.

i'm sure they'll gerrymander the figures to look like it was the correct decision, when that happens - you guys in the south will have the same laws
