Newent - what a weekend!
« on: 07 September 2009, 10:38:26 »

What a great weekend and best ever turnout. :y
Think I need to hang my liver out to dry this week due to excessive amounts of whisky and Carlsberg Export being consumed. ::) As always was good to meet up with old faces and quite a few new ones.
Don't think I want to see another bbq for a long time, a mountain of meat arrived and poor old gas barbie worked overtime but was a pleasure to feed OOF as always. ;) The bloody wind changed direction on Saturday and ended up getting completely smoked out so got to say thanks to Kevin Wood for taking over the cooking for a while so my eyes could recover from the smoke. :y
Thanks to Johnnycboy for yet again providing top entertainment Friday evening, I think he was on a mission to drink every drop of whisky in sight! ;D
Anyway, big thanks to everyone for making it a thoroughly enjoyable weekend, especially Darth Loo-Knee for all his hard work in making it possible. :y :y :y
Last but not least, thanks to Lazy Docker for rescuing me as I was about to leave. Left my car radio on for an hour or 2 while cleaning the barbie and packing the trailer tent and went to start the car when finally ready to go.......nothing, dead as a doornail!! :(
Lazy Docker to the rescue with heavy duty jump leads. :y :y :y
Well done OOF. :y :y :y

 ::) ;D

this reminded me an old story about my military service..

during the military service, actually in the beginning I become badly sick because of bad conditions ( running 3 kms in the cold morning nearly naked  >:( , long hours of training, bad food etc)

and they dont let you to be free from training even you are sick.. >:( unless you go unconcious..

so what did I do.. voluntary for collecting the garbages ;D wholeday as I could escape from
anything..

it was comfortable for few days as when the job was finished we colud rest in an empty garbage field even sleep :)

but suddenly one day my nose decided to work when we were at the garbage field..  yuk..yuk.yuk.. :P :P

it was the worst smell I ever see in my life..not necessary I tell more details ;D

...back to training again ;D

Oh, I see Mr Dent, you are trying to blame your bloodshocked eyes on Saturday night on the BBQ smoke.  Completely unrelated to the consumption of Scottish Firewater then?
