Scotland out of world cup shock

as predicted when we got mullered by Norway - we didn't qualify, we didn't deserve to - yes we played well against the Netherlands but we couldn't beat them (they're not great - but way better than we'll ever be) damage was done way before last night. It was an easy group, (we were 2nd seeds - that'll never happen again) but well done George for alienating our best players, randomly picking 39 year olds who were no great shakes in their youth! Making some bizarre choices and just being a bit strange - thanks for making Berti Vogts look like a tactical genius  ;D

Now i can breathe a sigh of relief as we'd only embarrass ourselves at the World Cup anyway  :(



ps the first draft of this was far worse - but i deleted it and took a few hours out to chill  ;D

Only saw the highlights and they were a bit unlucky not to get a result, but as you said the damage was done before last night. ::)

yep,best chance since 66,capable of going all the way this time blah,blah,blah.......same old 'dangle berries' every 4 years. ::)
