The Beastie's pretty much on the wearbars now. I'd like to stick with Goodyear Eagle F1's. The size on the present tyres is :- 235-45 ZR 17. I'm guessing it's cheaper to have them sent rather than go to a local tyre centre, too late to phone the ones i know now so any ideas on where to get them from or any decent equivalents please?
    I found some on ebay new @ £80 a corner but not listed now I've found Pirellis to be very grippy on other cars but never tried them on a mig.

I must note that I have seen many tire review sites,

and found complete road tests are more trustable than user reviews..  because %10-20 brake distance difference in wet will worth the extra money paid..

Very good choice. But a bit noisy, if that bothers anyone. Had them on mine briefly, borrowed wheels from another member, and give a very solid feel to the car, along with  softer but more pricey sport max, probably the best stable tyres i have tried.

Wonder if bridgestones give the same feel with quietness as well..... Cem?

Recently spoke to BMW e39 owner getting 30k from michelin primacy. Which given their high price would make them the cheapest, if you see what i mean. Not massively grippy, but quiet and good directional stability apparently.

However i think Guy is looking for an Eagle supplier?

Cheers folks. I like the F1's but am open to other options. Given the nature of the Beastie quietness or lack of is not an issue for me but grippy most certainly is,
    All further suggestions welcome with price guidelines if poss.

Dunlop Sport 9090's, had them on the last one and have them on the rear of this one, as soon as I wear out the front's i'll be putting them on the front as well.

A little bit noisy but the grip and handling are excellent.

I was quite happy with a set of Continental PremiumContact 2s all round.

Then again I did get WIM to fit them and they sorted out the geometry etc all at the same time, and then found the wishbones were shot
