help me with my decision :)
« on: 11 September 2009, 19:05:24 »

hi, I hope I to find some help here. I know some of you already use netbooks so I want your advice. I want to buy one but I don't know which one, I'm thinking in a Samsung NC10 so I will appreciate some opinions, I also found this  site where you can win a free Samsung NC10 you just have to register, if someone it's interested. But well I think you can help me with my decision, maybe I have some other options that are better than the NC10. Thanks

I have had one of these for 2 months and very happy with it - battery life is very good at 9 hours though not sure I have established that it is 9 hours of my type of use accessing databases all the time - but it is still very good. Built in web cam

Agreed.

SWMBO has one and is very pleased with it. Like all computers I guess it depends what you want to do with it. Ours is used for Internet, E-Mail, Flash based games and a little bit of Microsoft Office type work.

Not sure how it would perform if you wanted to play graphics intensive games etc.

If all you want is a bit of internet and e-mail access, then a netbook is fine.
Anything more than that (eg, burning a CD/DVD), and a netbook is not the right tool for the job.
