Just got back from my girlfriends. She has been very strange with me for past couple of weeks,hardly any texts or calls and when we were together virtually no affection/hugs/kisses or any of the usual stuff. So tonight i asked her what was wrong and she bursts into tears with the "its not you its me" line. To cut a very long story short she says she still loves me.....but not as much as she did! Can somebody please tell me what the hell that means?
So after a long chat and floods of tears from her she says she doesnt know whats changed,she says i havnt done or said anything wrong or upset her or anything. So basically shes came away with this and cant give me a reason why. Up until tonight i thought we were hunky dory,we went out last weekend and had a great time,seen her couple times this week and shes been fine,then she hits me with this tonight.
A lot of you are probably thinking shes met someone else.....im 100% convinced she hasnt.
We have a family wedding on friday,now she says she needs a couple of days to sort her feelings out and cant tell me if she will be coming or not. Got a feeling she wont and thats the end of us.
Really fed up tonight and not usually one for pouring my heart out,but i thought one or two of the lady OOFers may have an insight. I know its late. Just dont know what to think.

Cam you have to ask her, there's no point wondering about it.

There seems to be some problem here but speculation and second guessing will not get to the bottom of it.

Relationships will always face difficulties from time to time but this can be dealt with, for the most part, by dialogue between the parties - so ask direct questions and don't accept half-hearted answers.

The sooner you get answers to the questions you pose the sooner you will know what's happening and that will benifet you in the long run.

How long have you been together, its probably the standard itch of being together for a while.
Give her a few days, if she comes back nothing lost if she does then it means more time to spend doing other things

It means she's met someone else.
Whether she's actually done anything behind your back or not is still up for question, but women only give the "It's not you, it's me" speech in an attempt to stop what they know will follow if they tell the truth.

Thats why i got me a new motorbike, at 6k its cheaper than a women per year to run, starts first time, and when i get bored i just take the key out. 

Only thing it craves is petrol, which i can easily provide

yup as others have said she`s probably got her eye on someone else, i got exactly the same speech from my ex, it turned out she had been chasing after some bloke for over a year, she did try & come back to me after her car failed the MOT & she was quoted £300 to put it right, & even better the bloke she was chasing turned out to be a chutney ferret anyhow i told her where to go so go out & enjoy yourself & youll soon feel better
