Also if anyone needs any parts, let me know and I can get them at TC price and bring them down.

EG. Box of semi synth is £22.50 + vat = £26.44. Filters £1.11 + vat etc...

I'd like to pop in to say "Hello".  Might have all 4 wheels going in a straight line by then, hopefully.  :)
Cambelt was supposedly done before I bought - would welcome any comments on evidence to support this!

Which bit of Brackley?  Was at the leisure centre last Sat...

Hi All,

I wouldn't mind coming along to say Hi as I'm a new forum member.

I bought my Omega about 6 weeks ago. I bought it at just under 42,000 and it was serviced by the dealer from whom I purchased it. They have stamped the book and indicated the cambelt and pullies were changed but if there's time a quick exploratory peek under the covers to check the condition of the belt would be good as I am wary of trusting 2nd hand car dealers. It would also be good to see the procedure carried out as I will be servicing it myself in future.

I'd also be interested, again, if time permits, in enabling the cruise control if there'll be a Tech2 to hand as I'd like to change the stalk to one with the cruise buttons on it in the near future. I might even be able to source a stalk before the weekend.

Cheers,

Kevin

What needs doing?

Yeah, about 120 miles! I need my cambelt doing, was wondering if anyone could also point me towards where some steering problems might be coming from. I also would like to install cruise at some point so would like someone to show me roughly where everything goes!
It would still work out cheaper to get the belt and water pump done this way and I'd love to see how it's done and get involved. I knew nothing about cars until joining this forum and now I just want to learn more and more  :P
So if it's ok with everyone I'd like to pop over.

So, currently we have the following experts lending a hand:
Marks_DTM_Calib
Laidback66
Me (expert in the loose sense ;))

And the following coming:
MaxV6 (confirmed) - Cambelt, waterpump, handbrake
Theolodian (probable) - HID fix
Manbafia (unknown) - Cambelt?
BazMV6 (unknown) - a check over
Kevin Wood (unknown) - Cruise enable

Those above please confirm if you're coming, and confirm the list above is correct please.
