Had a rough few months with my dad,omega_gee on this site,he had a heart attack on the 27th of july and spent one week in hospital.On the 26th of august he had an angiogram and was told he had one blocked artery and one narrowed,2 stents were needed,he was told he would be put on the waiting list for surgery which could be between 6 and 8 weeks.On the 28th of august he went to Kingsmill Hospital for an appointment for his blood monitoring and suffered another heart attack whilst there,right place at the right time fortunately!,he was admitted and had another in the earlier hours of monday morning,and another in the early hours of tuesday morning.He was then put onto warfarin the prepare him for surgery at Notts City Hospital.Tuesday around midday his nose started bleeding heavily which lasted for 14 hours and ended up having his nose quarterised to stop the bleeding.He went to Notts City Hospital wednesday afternoon and was due to have surgery thursday at 3pm only to have 2 more attacks while there,his surgery was bought forward to 9am thursday,another angiogram was done and 4 stents were needed as more damage was done.He had the surgery and all went well until both his legs started to bruise all around and just below both knees.A scan revealed he had damage to his artery where the canular had been in his groin,more surgery!,he came back home on the 9th and seems to be ok although he seems to have changed a little,maybe its changed his outlook on life,hopefully he'll be on here soon....sorry for the essay!...Wayne
