£448 a year fully comp with business use and 27,000 miles per annum. Didn't think that was too bad.

I tend to have quite a long winded way of getting insurance. First I do two or three comparison sites, then i try Direct Line & Avviva as they're not on them. Once I have the cheapest quote I log myself into Quidco (a web cashback operative) and log into the cheapest website i found. Put in all the info, again, and can save anything from 5% to 50+%.

I know its around the houses a bit, but if a couple of hours searching can save me over £200 a year then im happy :)

As an example, my wifes previous Volvo 940 was coming in at £189 fully comp, not much i know, but by simply logging in through Quidco i got that down to just under £120 a year.

On moneysavingexpert.com there are people who actually saved so much the insurance company are paying them to have insurance. :y :y

Had a quote from Saga about 3 years ago. They turned out to be not very competitive with others I had had quotes from. MoreThan however are the very best deal I've ever had, so took out both cars and home insurance with them.

Mick

My car quote is from Saga.
Just renewed my Home insurance, was with More Than for about 4 years, no with Tesco.  More than got quite shirty when they rang swmbo who said that I was looking around, they said "but it's only gone up by £60.00"    They are crafty, think they have got you and prices go up. Same with their pet insurance, stuck with that, cos of the age of the dog, but £100 more than others, they say because they offer things, that I dont want but can't take off. :(
