What would I have done without OOF

I would have been a real girl and taken my yet again broken car to the garage :( but no with lots of help from lots of oof members, Syd is back on the road :) :)  and Im well chuffed Ive changed the alternator and he started first time :y :y :y :ythankyu guys :)
I may have a further collection of oil stained clothes, got through 30 pairs of gloves and smell like the engine but I did it  :D :D :D :D on my xmas list I must put overalls, do they come in pink ::) so the answer to Darth Bog Roll as to what do I think of the forum my answer has to  :y :y :y :y :y :-* :-* :-* :-* :y :y :y :y :y :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :y :y :y :y :y :y

congrats Ali, girly thing is to spend a fortune on garage bills , you havent so you can afford to order a set of red overalls then wash them 23 times in a row and get them to go pink!!! :y ;D

if your like me and don't have a layer of blubber (like other members do  ::)) to keep you warm in winter, i highly recommend padded overalls, nice and warm and sung when working outside in the cold.

On the subject of songs, Abba - Money Money Money is a good one, cause the garage gets none of it  ;D

I use colour washing liquid so my reds stay red :D :D :D :D :D the only overalls I have seen will drown me :( Im only 5'1" do they make kids ones ::) ::) ::)

Would it not be easyer to get a pair of white overalls and wash them with red clothes a couple of times?
In the army we all got issued with green, red and white pt shirts, after three weeks we all had green, red and pink pt shirts, :-/

head gasket, whats that one then ::) Im still not sure that Syd isnt going to end up in car heaven as after days sorting the other problems the hot start problem has come back  >:( >:( >:( >:( left me stranded again tonight :-[ AA kept me holding for 10mins then my bloody battery died on my phone :'( :'( :'( :'( so sat tight for an hour, then cooled enough to start :-/ so not a happy bunny

Think someone had recently changed the temp sensor in pump, and said it wasn't that bad a job. Or use one of those ebay kist
