Busy today
« on: 26 September 2009, 20:39:47 »

Removed the old bushes and ball joints off my old wishbones.

Wirebrushed and rust killlered, fitted new ball joint to one of them.

Tomorrow fit other ball joint and paint them

I did the same to my old GM ones, balljoints simply bolt in so take minutes.

I painted them with a few coats of anti corrosion primer then just normal black spray paint - not the best of jobs but good enough.

Just waiting for their return with the new horizontal and vertical bushes fitted.  :y Then it's down to WIM for two new tyres and a Geo.

I have got poly ones on the way, but tyres are a sore point, I need one, but I am sure I mentioned the financial issue. :(

:-? So pattern jobbies differ from O/E.  The ball joint on all the pattern ones I've had have been riveted on.

They are all rivetted, but upon renewal, TIS says drill them and replace with nuts and bolts
