40% of Americans deny that humans evolved from other animals and believe the Earth and everything on it was created by an invisible "super-being" 10,000 years ago!!! ;D ;D ;D

40%...not 4 or 14 but 40...Four-oh, 2 out of every 5 people in an affluent, educated,modern, western country genuinely believe the Earth is 10,000 years old  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D


so they believe dinosaurs roamed the earth at the same time as man!!! (that would explain the dodgy Rachel Welch movie)

aren't religious nuts hilarious? - and the US is by no means the worst offender - i'll bet in Iran it's even higher :o :o :o

Many Americans never actually leave the U.S in their lifetime.......They travel from state to state.......but dare not venture further.
Perhaps they are afraid.......that they may "sail off the edge of the world". ::) ::)

I actually worked with a religious nut that thought the world was 10,000 years old. He also thought the sun was the same age too. Some stars were not suns & there couldn't possibly be life on other planets.

He also said he didn't swear, i heard a few times & so did other's, he'd deny it too, oh & that made him a lier as well ;D

Very narrow minded people.
