And these silly new regs will do nothing to stop this happening (although you can driv a bus through most of them anyway!)
Part P isn't worth shit in terms of protection, and (ironically) it doesn't apply where people make the most mistakes.
In fact, about the only thing Part P was good for was the fact they made it a mandatory 5 years in jail if you did something that later caused injury or death.
The good old 'Responsible person' clause 
That's "competent" person, and it isn't a get out.
Whether "competent" or qualified, the law is rigid.....you do something electrically (that is notifiable) and someone gets hurt or dies....you kiss your ass goodbye for the next 5.
Now for my next question........
If we can be that rigid against what could be nothing more than blind ignorance, then why the f**k can't we eradicate the "feral youth" problem that has arisen since we were told it was illegal to slap our kids around the arse when they constantly misbehave?
