Big journey tomorrow............
« on: 02 October 2009, 22:54:17 »

Hi all,

Got a drive tomorrow of over 600 miles.......!!!!

Leaving Nottingham at 7am then driving to collect my lad from Caernarfon, North Wales.....

Then taking him to see the lights of Blackpool Illuminations.....

Then taking him back to Caernarfon....

Then driving back home to Nottingham.....

Reckoning on getting home about 2am Sunday morning!!!

I think it will be about £110 in petrol, and hopefully the MV6 will be as strong driving all day tomrw as its been in the year we have had it.......!!!

Nah, it was quite slow - 1 of our convoy had a 1yr old, so we have to stop every couple of hours.  Wouldn't say I was tired at end of it, but I slept well enough that night

Longest we've ever done is from St Tropez to home in a day (about 1,100miles) in our last Mig.  A very tiring day it was too, and not one I'll be planning to do again in a hurry!

I'm not surprised the commute from Transylvania would have been murder.

Well, got back last night after 11pm......

Had a great time in extremely windy but sunny Blackpool, Illuminations were brilliant !!!

Did 684 miles from home to home and our MV6 never missed a beat (why would it, its a Mig!!!).....

Spent about £115 of fuel, still got a third of a tankful left and average 35.6mpg on the display so all in all very well done to the car !!!!
