As above, It's a 1998, first reg August 1998. 2.5 V6 Tourer, it has steering wheel controls for radio, and the rear headrests fold down to lower the seat back, are these the only criteria which I can tell by?
  While I'm here, are the headlights the same throughout the range? will late model in the 2000+ years fit my car? for example the xenon ones?

Yours is mini-facelift. Headlights differ in shape on the facelift only

OK, Thanks guys, so it's mini facelift, and only headlights up to 1999 will fit.

Regarding the headlights, you won't be able to just plug Xenon's in if your car has the normal halogen one's. What spec is you car? I.e CD, Elite etc? If you wanted to change to Xenon's there's a fair bit of work that'll need doing, but it's not impossible.

I don't know what spec' it is really, there are no badges on the car for CD, CDX etc, on the tailgate it just says "Tourer" and "vauxhall Omega 2.5 V6", the same on the log book as well.
  Regarding the Headlights, a vauxhall breaker near me, who I asked about a N/S projecter type, said he had a pair of Xenon ones with power pack and bulbs, complete set up for £100, he said they would fit straight in, is there more involved?

IIRC there is only one wire difference between the projectors and the HIDs

What about the self levelling and the washers then?

Does she have cd/cdx badges on the ftont wing mouldings? Didital or ratory heating controls, seat settings etc.
