mine just makes a standard 'ring ring' sound.

Best way is to make your own from some of your music tracks. If your running windows, download Audacity and edit the track to what you want, then send it to the phone via software/cable or bluetooth

As for the cuckoo you've two options, shoot it or switch the phone off :D

Ring, Ring for me too !  :y
I just don't get it. :-?   When the phone rings, the idea is to answer it promptly, not listen to a tune.

My phone is ringing all day and I dont often have my hands free to answer. As its always going off might as well be something to listen to other than ring ring. Tried that and it drove me mad :( I also like to give individuals their own ring tone so I can tell if I need to answer or if I can call them back ;)

I use http://www.mobile9.com/ loads of free stuff on there, ringtones, themes and wallpapers etc. You might have to sign up (free I believe) to get instant access to the downloads.

If a friends phone rings or i like the txt alert i ask them to bluetooth it to my phone.
Does'nt happen that often though as i use my phone about as much as i watch telly. I often go to work without it & it NEVER goes upstairs. We managed fine without them once. I resent being expected to be available 24/7. ::)

Make them myself, and tweak the frequency spectrum that the human ear is most susceptible to (approx 800Hz - 1.5KHz), to make it sound louder than what it actually is so it can be heard more easily in noisy enviroments.

Oh here we go again. Try keeping your condescending views to yourself. Swearing ok. Slating other folks cars or how they write from behind a filter is downwright cowardly & self obsessive. Hav'nt you noticed that your recent activities have met with disapproval from many of your members..News Check.....You are not god, no really you are'nt, i know it must come as a surprise but smell the coffee. I know i voice my opinions outwardly on here at times but i do it openly & take the responses on the nose. I'm afraid this is annoying me to the point where tomorrow @ 18:00 hrs i'll try to write "txt" "capri" & a couple more non swearwords. If the filter messes with them & the infantile behaviour continues i'll delete my membership. I'll keep the Beastie..minus the OOF stickers so still a Mig owner but not here. No great loss i know but however it's intended i don't find it funny. Guy. :(
