Just sent e-mail to the FSA asking why they allow companies such as this to practice legal extortion if they are there to regulate. Interesting to see if they reply

You should bear in mind that "Financial Services" are "what this country is good at".

Shameful APR but at least it's there in black and white.

I completed the first half of a debt-counselling course (training to help people who are in debt that is) last week.  Seems it may not be too late after all.  I thought the recession was on the way out but with that sort of loan available there must be some people taking them up on it.
