It's economically repairable (assuming the engine casings aren't damaged), the only potential problem is in getting it SVA'd and re-registered.

Dunno about economical tho' KW. A frame with papers start at around £1000 on Fleabay.
Ok for a hard tail project. Couple of my mates have shipped rolling chassis over from the U.S for under £1500 (inc shipping).
I was just thinking that something advertised as damaged repairable shouldn't involve a new frame. :-?

see a huge crack in the gear box casing, you could restore it to being a tractor, and doing was it was designed for. Ploughing fields  ;D

Fleabay is great if you want your pants pulled down, shop at the right places and a Sportster frame (with paperwork) is half that with ease.

New components to get it back on the road aside, that ain't worth £1K as it is to anybody that actually has a clue IMO.

If the motor was ok it would be worth around £600, but have a look at just behind the lower front mount, it looks cracked.
Worth sweet F.A like that.

Read the advert again mate.....it's carefully worded, but the actual gist is quite plain......this is a bike that has never been on a UK computer for anything.....and you can register it straight away  ;)

Fair point, but I've had another look and that crack is where the oil filter mount was. That's breaked.

I think you are missing my (and the advertisers) point T.

Whoever contemplates buying that at the starting price doesn't give a toss how f**ked it is, they ain't buying it to put that actual machine back on the road  ;)
