Looks like I've had Swine Flu!

Been to doctors today as I got sent home from work on Sunday, my first day in for 12 days, because I looked like shite!

Went in for a certificate and he said it sounds like I've had swine flu... Apparently I fall right in the middle of the high risk demographic (25-35, generally fit and healthy, rarely ill) and was hit very hard by it!

Upshot was he signed me off until the 14th (my last shift) so I won't be back at work till Monday :y :y

Getting a bit frustrated really as I generally feel OK in the afternoon and evening but am feeling really rough for the first 4 or 5 hours of the day :( :(

Well,Suffolk is the right place to be with swine flu.More pigs than people in Suffolk,so they say. :D :)

Been really strange... Don't normally get ill so been an odd experience ::) ::)

Trouble is, I get bored with having to loiter at home ::) ::)

thought you'd been a bit quiet lately...? Glad your on the mend.

We will ALL get it in the next year or so. According to "all you need to know about swine flu" on the telly. Probably over xmas holidays knowing my luck.

Is it bad? Difficult to tell if you never get ill i suppose.

Depends on your definition of bad? I rarely take time off work for illness but really was bad last week... I think it's been made worse by the fact I'm a little run down from burning the candle at both ends... Since we got back from Newent I had spent every spare moment working at the pub, decorating etc, until last Thursday when I physically didn't have enough strength/energy to get up :o :o :o

That said, it didn't even cross my mind it could be swine flu until someone suggested it on Friday. Was just like a bad dose of flu as far I was concerned ::) ::)
