Every now and then I do a bit of selling on ebay, and that time is looming. I have always used the Post Office, never had a problem with delivery either home or abroad.  :y However with a strike coming up, has anyone any suggestions for an altenative delivery service that is just as easy to use?
fedex, interlink, dhl just goole some
i would suggest dhl as the best atm

i wouldn't use Fedex - saw this documentary once, the fedex guy opened up all the parcels, threw all the stuff he didn't fancy away, wore the clothes...he even took a football out and drew a face on it and talked to it!! :o

even the name gives you a clue, it was called "Cast Away"

I always use Interparcel for ... erm ... parcels. Always spot on (so far).

Thank you for your sensible and helpful reply :y not like the others who just think everything is a joke. Frankly I am surprised at the response by some long standing members, who should know better and if a certain members inflatable toys go missing then don't blame me...... :P :P :P :D :D :D
Did you really expect a sensible answer to a sensible question on here Vamps ? ::) ;D

One lives in hope, but No...... :D :D :D
Order a few thing by mail order and give each courier driver marks out of 10, then decide which company you would feel happiest with:y :y :y Not sure who they were who came here today but he was off his face, his parcels were just thrown in the back of the van, he climbed over them to get mine and then ended up giving me the wrong parcel :-? :-? :-? cant beleive I payed for that service :( :( :(

I have always been happy with the Royal Mail, but as they are about to shoot themselves in the foot I need to consider my options :(

Your options.

Would have thought it was an option for the buyer.

Add into the sale regards the postal strike.

Then give them a list of prices and options.

I would make a point of adding postal insurance to any sale done via the royal mail though just to cover the sale.

I use parcel2go.com too. Always been brilliant. You can decide which company you use through them and get the best deal, and most of the time the parcel company will come to your house.

Plus if you advertise them on your Ebay listing you get a discount off postage.
