Next cambelt meet
« on: 15 October 2009, 19:16:02 »

Aside of work done at camping trips, we haven't actually had a cambelt meet for.... as long as I can remember.

They are a really worthwhile event for members.

Although I do offer some occasional mobile mechanics work, I also like to contribute to the values of OOF, therefore the work I do at cambelt meets is entirely free of charge (and I suspect this can be said of some of the other people who offer mechanical services).

Just bring your parts along, and we'll fit them!

I can't host one, but I'm happy to work for the day.

Any thoughts, before the bad weather comes?

Waiting for a date from Guffer - though I reckon that may have to be limited attendence due to the site?

If anyone else has covered site capable of holding 20+ cars, that would be ideal

Well, if it's convenient both ways, I'd like to be on the team changing the kits  :y

Not sure about limits yet, but covered for 2 at a time only.  We could do a 2 day event although people may have to chip in some small change for a bottle of champagne :y

Can we donate beer to your neighbor for keys to the Rugby club car park?

i always come away from oof meets feeling i've benefited more than i've contributed to the day.

Its something i would like to change, but they just keep helping me out. One day i'll be able level the score in oofs favour a bit, if they let me. :-)

Not sure what happened there, I missed all the fun. Guess it was an attempt to stop the gay boys who insist on talking like 8yr olds on gay mobiles...
