Fiesta problems
« on: 09 March 2007, 21:05:14 »

Hi everyone out there. My daughter owns a 1998 1.2 Fiesta which has developed a problem . When you drive it you get a loud clicking noise from the area around the offside wheel/driveshaft area. the frequency increases/decreases relevant to road speed and also sounds louder when left hand lock is applied and not as loud when right hand lock is applied.
I've checked the tyre for flints etc also wheel bearings and brakes which seem o.k. I'm thinking c.v. joint anybody help out with this diagnosis please

Does sound like a CV. Worth checking wear bearings as well?
