they have a lot to learn, when i was flying standby over the states few years back a 747 broke, 767 replaced it. Meant i was going no ware that night. (i only got on if their was a spare seat)

It was at WashingtonDC, i pushed two sets of seats together to from a raised area, raided the United Airline desks for some bed sheets, made a make shift bed, and made kip for the night, was not too bad, apart from damn security announcements.

My uncle worked for United and i got dirt cheap flights all over the states, only issue was i had to go standby with carry on only.

Bonus was i usually went Business Class  Paid £90 return to New York 

Did about 15-20 flights in total, only failed to get on twice.

The 9/10 hours to USA the other year finally finished her off regarding flying, she was terrified at the thought of getting on the plane when the holiday had finished.
We go every where by car now.

Your missing out... this was the food on United Business. I got used to Champers , fine food and wine, movies.
