Killing off cars and society once and for all...
« on: 25 October 2009, 01:19:18 »

"An influential think-tank, supported by the government, will tomorrow urge £150 billion of new green taxes on businesses and households — including a £3,300 levy on new cars."

"Among the proposals are a tripling of fuel duty over the next decade, a household energy tax, and the hefty tax added to the price of every new car."

"The GFC, which is chaired by Robert Napier, chairman of the Met Office, argues for a “fundamental rebalancing of the tax system” based on the “polluter pays” principle."

Robert Napier, eh? I thought he was a chairman of a scientific outfit, not a political advocate. Oh, wait a minute...

http://bishophill.squarespace.com/blog/2009/9/22/should-we-believe-anything-the-met-office-says.html

Met Office, eh? Isn't that something to do with the Hadley Centre?

http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/climatechange/science/hadleycentre/

Isn't the Hadley Centre something to do with the UN IPCC?

"Far from ensuring a wide range of opinions from a broad cross-section of scientists, more than 20 percent of the chapter 9 [IPCC] contributing editors consisted of staff from the Hadley Center working in a supervisor/subordinate structure.

http://www.heartland.org/policybot/results/23694/IPCC_Author_Selection_Process_Plagued_by_Bias_Cronyism_Study.html

Wasn't it the Hadley Centre that "accidentally" destroyed the world's temperature data?

http://www.theregister.co.uk/2009/08/13/cru_missing/

Isn't the UN concerned with a New World Order?

I heard that the BNP had the solution: They are going to convert coal-fired power stations to burn foreigners, thus solving the energy crisis and the population explosion in one fell swoop ::)

Tripling fuel duty. Now that's a laugh, they can't & they won't. Why? I tell you why, because they would lose billions, no one would able to afford to drive & so they wouldn't. The governments want us to drive, smoke & do all the things they say we shouldn't, because that's how they make their money.

Exactly, but it is the start of the process of lies and obfuscation in the run up to next years election.
Who would want us to think that the government is going to do that....Oh yes big corporate interests.....who owns the Times........Oh yes News International.....who owns News Internatial......Oh yes Rupert Murdoch.....a big corporate entity.
Not the worst thing I could have called him !!
