you're right - screw the starving in Africa - we should take up a collection for all those fashion models instead - what was i thinking?  ::)
Who said anything about taking up a collection?

All I'm saying is that it isn't the bed of roses (or wealth) that you think it is.

As for the starving millions around the world, while I can feel a degree of empathy for them....my attitude on that is we have plenty of problems right here that need sorting first (simple things such as ensuring the elderly aren't s**t scared to turn their heating on in winter).

...... I'm afraid I'll  have to agree with K on this one - plenty to be done here first.  :y :y

Those girls are being sacrificed on the altar of greed & vanity to feed the bank balances of the  fashion industry, and in return our young girls are being brainwashed into a false body image. :(

They are dead, There just to lazy to fall over.
should be banned from all model agencys there are far to many lasses hungering themselfs to death just to be a model

yep..because the system imposes that..

but they are human first of all.. :-/

But what does the system compose of Cem?

THe vast majority of women are against "size 0", and recognise it is a false depiction of most of us!  We recognise the absurbity of modeling clothes on these girls, when most of the real woman are averaging many sizes larger.

The vast majority of men apparently want women with "meat of them", because they prefer that look which indicates, subconsciously, a healthy disposition of a women who can produce and nurture children well.  Many of the size 0 women have stopped having periods.

Womens magazines now contain numerous articles condeming the fashion industry for perpetuating size 0 as the ideal size and making young girls think they must be that size to be a top model.  The overwhelming belief is that it is totally wrong, cruel, and should cease because the "average woman" detests this image.

So what, or whom is the system that dictates a model must be a size 0?  Perverted men / fashion designers with money, who care little for life, but place all their value of the fashions they create for their own egos?! Or is it stupid ill meaning fashion house managers / owners who live for fashion and money, with no care for the realities of life?! >:( >:( >:( >:(

Whatever, it is wrong and should cease now! >:( >:(

Agreed.. all correct Lizzie :y
