Spot of evening entertainment...
« on: 28 October 2009, 22:30:51 »

Note on the intranet mentioned tickets to be in the audience of Live from Studio Five being filmed. Decided to go along for a chuckle, never been in a studio with a live TV show being filmed.

Was quite interesting, seamless integration from clips recorded earlier in the day, coupled with live singing from Amy Winehouse's god daughter. The studio was tiny! I was expecting it to be big with quite a decent audience, say cinema sized, in the end was only about 6 of us, could barley fit any more in the studio.  ;D

So got to chat with Melinder Messenger, Ian Wright & Kate Walsh, managed to be on TV for about 0.2 seconds  ;D

Interesting to see all the swing arm cameras and others constantly  being moved around getting instructions on angles and such, all quite low key affair really, was worth it though to meet Kate Walsh  :-*

This is the link if anyone is interested:

And its a con, its not from Studio Five, its from StudioC  ;D

Can understand you ending up in a sky studio, but surprised it was channel.  Do they share the shame buildings.

Kind of, Sky does all of Five's news programming, and a lot of their other shows too.
