I have had a week off from the kitchen (office / drudge cycle) to catch up with little jobs I never usually have the time to do around the house.

I have spent a large slice of my time on t'internet ( can't think where !    ), a bit messing around with the new toy -- deciding what to rip off first (actually made a fair bit of progress in detective work, digging up it's history and tracking down the original designer, the original sales manager and a few of the project owners along the way). Slept a bit  and, now ..... 4 days into a 5 day break ( weekends don't count) --- if I can get off here --- I am about to tackle the first "real" job --- digging out the grimey grout from the shower and re-grouting ... better get a shufty on ........

Yep !!!!  Yaaay  (The missus' toothbrush is great for working the grout into the gaps !!! )

HC one should get servants to undertake such duties, especially if you are aristocracy!

A distant rellie has recently had to sell off some of the silver to pay off taxes (Let's call him The E of D    ) ... There's no money in being aristocratic these days (far more lucrative being an MP !)
