THAT CO2 ad...
« on: 02 November 2009, 22:01:13 »

Remember I brought your attention to that ActonCO2 ad. that the government is running?

Well, in view of the number of formal complaints made, the Advertising Standards Authority has now launched an investigation into it. Aside from the bogus claims the ad makes, many complained that it was a political advert, which contravenes Section 4 of the advertising Code of Practice.

Odd then, that Ed Milliband should get so stirred up on his blog, pleading with his followers to not "let the sceptics silence us" and asking them to forward the ad. to friends.

Er, Ed. The fact that this plea is on your own political blog reveals that it the ad is political. Case closed, methinks.

Ed Balls - a prime example of the high standard exhibited by government ministers.

What a bunch of wasters.

Bah!
