Bootiful .. and with a few sliced roasted almonds mixed in just before serving ....  :)

Uhm, never tried them with Almonds. Sounds nice :)

They always taste better after Jack Frost has had a bite at them :y

Or crushed pistachios with salt and pepper  :y

Generallly Hate 'em -- but eat them at Christmas -- TBH if they are cooked well they aren't really that bad -- they just bring back images of being force fed them as a child. My dad used to cook when he was home on leave and his cabbage could be made into shoes, whilst the brussels just slopped onto the plate ... Yuuuckk

I wonder who the demented soul was who first thought 'Hmm!, small green things on stalks, they might be edible?' :-?

Probably the same soul who squeezed a cow's udder and thought "I'll drink what comes out" --- Thank God it wasn't a bull !!!!

OK then... Without the aid of search engines, which UK Town/City consumes more Brussel Sprouts per head, on average, than any other throughout the year?

Answers on a postcard... No Prize, just for for giggles :y :y
