Well having got my Omega sorted it drives lovely :D

2.5 cd 1998 manual
with:

3.0 polished throttle body, 3.0 cams, new water pump and belts
cleaned out breathers and plenum
new plugs and leads and fuel filter
new cam cover gaskets (get OEM parts at trade price...far better than pattern parts)
K+N replacement filter element with added air feeds to stock airbox
M-Tek chip
Irmscher suspension kit
Yoko tyres all round

Just waiting on funds to get a powerflow complete exhaust system


Getting 400 miles to a tank and still averaging 28-30 mpg  :)

OK Andy your getting great mileage, but I'm guessing you didn't do all that work just to improve mpg ::)

Wow, that is a serious amount of work Andy!

I'm sure sure that is bl**dy good fun to drive now though!  :D

I just hope those cam cover gaskets hold up ok...
