Ode to the Omega
« on: 18 March 2007, 23:24:52 »

There once was a silver Omega
not a 4 pot, but a sixer
it didn't go forward
it didn't go backwards
it need a ronnie the fixer

So onto the drive it did went
After hitching a lift back from Kent
2 weeks have gone past
The car is still here
but at least it is straight and not bent

Cos today was the day to get a start
but to be honest I didn't have the heart
and apart from all that
Laidback said his ass was sore
from cycling round Derby, the tart!

SO we put it off till next week
and a gearbox I need not now seek
cos I pinched the wifes one
when she popped round next door
Ooooh I can be a little sneak

There I'll leave it all for tonight
then next week we'll put up a good fight
thats me and Laidback
and maybe Mark and his jack
cos mine just hasn't got the height!

You can almost picture Ron wandering around the garden, muttering those words.

What's this I here from afar
the Boy's plans a trip in his car
just don't go over a ton
on that temptin M1
or we'll be pointing and sayiong 'ha ha!'

So the party expands bit by bits
depends if this gearbox will fits
cos the laidback and me
done this before, you see
but we could still end up looking like tits

T'will be nice to see this mega driving
cos its not for the want or for trying
Its sat  just outside
which is ok, I don't mind
as long as Laidback isn't skiving

mind you thought of that ATF fluid
that makes you feel ill and then spew it
does not make me excited
but you're all invited
between us that ought to do it!
