Mike do you think I'm being too hard on the doctor ,
I can't say really, sounds fishy to me. I would have thought an insurance company would have used an independent medical person to do any report, assuming it is for some form of compensation. I can not think of my GP telling any lies to get more private business. My condition, though having many general symptoms, can differ, in the detail, from individual to individual, and indeed from day to day. So generalised reports should not be written or degree of disability judged. Talking in work today, not been too good, again

but when I am well I am well and more than able to hold my own in the workplace.
I can't see how your GP can be treating you for something and then deny it's existence in a medical report, it could however be written in a way that may 'lean' one way or another for Court / Compensation, or, report wise he may be sitting on the fence. Without knowing much more and seeing the report I don't think I can say much more.
