Chin up Bertie... It's only a Crank Sensor on the car, so not too bad to put right and just a bit of poor luck, and as for the rest... That's what we're here for :y :y :y

It's a shame your having problems with it so soon! at least you have a load of people on here that can offer advice and support to get it running again and then you will feel a lot better.  It's probably a sensor playing up so just a simple replace and then it will be sorted - keep positive!

It's understandable that you're feeling down Bertie. Just remember you need to keep your chin up. There are worst things happening in the world :y :y

As for the sensor... Have a chat to someone like Darth Loo Knee... I'm sure he broke a 2.5 recently and he could get you out of the bother with a 2nd hand sensor :y :y

its weird what an effect on your frame of mind your car can have on you when its bust, especially intermitent faults and you lie awake thinking what can i try tomorrow and it does get you down but then you come on here and folk discuss yer probs and remedies and yer feel better.but then yer get that great feeling when yer fix it :)

I appreciate all the support you are giving but there is nobody for me to go to for monetary support....I`ve tried to get a overdraft from the bank and been turned down i cant get a loan or c/card cause of my IVA i sold the bmw on monday for £100 to pay my overdue council tax and water rates(still not enough) and now this and plus my brother has fallen out with me cause of our parents house having to be reduced by £10,000 in an effort to sell it and he dont want it reduced...Big bust up over that and top it all i`m doing my girlfriends head in with cars and breaking down all the while!!! :-[

Unfortunately you seem to be getting a real rough ride at the moment Bert... I wish I was nearer to you, I'd have the car fixed in a jiffy for you :( :( :(

I'm sure on of your local guys will be able to help out with a 2nd hand part to see you through. :y :y
