please help my wife has a vauxhall tigra the problem is that sometimes its hard to start and a bit sluggish but if you turn it off then start again then its ok. also noticed it is loseing water about a keetle full every 3 weeks or so. the head is ok no water in the oil or vice versa. also cannot see it leaking anywhere. then car has just been serviced so the plugs are ok.    any help would be appriciated  thanks lads....

You sure about that? If its got twin electrode plugs in it, vx dealer wont bother changing em unless doing a 40k service or 80k service in the case of quad electrode plugs.

well its either the 1.4 16V or 1.6 16V.....and both are very similar....

If she puts her foot to the floor (and I mean to the floor) and cranks it over a few times....then turns it off and re-trys as normal almost straight away....does it start then....
