Brass balls are dropping everywhere -- but ne'er a snowflake in sight.

Won't happen down here -- we had a 5 minute sleet storm at around 5, but that was it.

It's laid here, good 2 inches on most of the roads, all roads round by my house are still covered in snow

Got abour half an inch of snow here, all main roads clear, but still some idiots doing 10mph on 40mph roads.

Gotta go and assess the roads now and decide if it's safe to take SWMBO to work

Roads here aren't that bad, been out and got some diesel for the van already, was stuck behind a bloke going less than 10mph up a 40 stretch and the road was clear

Two inches on the car but slush on the roads.  Just took the missus to work in the Focus and most roads were slippery.  Got stuck behind a Discovery of all things, being super-cautious!
