Karma does exist
« on: 23 December 2009, 21:24:19 »

Up until today, I didn't go much for the likes of "karma" and all that.
However, thanks to one member here (or rather, their attitude to certain aspects of life), my business partner and myself will not be worrying about anything on the financial front for at least the next 12 months  :y

If you happen to hold 2391, then PM me.
As of today, we can GUARANTEE you a working week of less than 30 hours and you will be more than comfortable (I'll tell you what the hourly rate is in PM).

PS

Could those that are fresh out of Uni/School please not bother to apply, we prefer to take on people that have done the job rather than just talked about it in the classroom.

Sorry to burst your bubble LD, but if you have no previous experience then you'll be needing a lot more than just 2391 I'm afraid.

Periodic testing. Steady work. Can't be bad if you got your prices right :y

The contract we signed today is a little bit more than just test/inspect Andy.
There is so much work that we need another 2 sparks (both qualified AND experienced). The 2 we take on will be getting the "crap" end of the stick for sure, but then when they see the renumeration, I'm pretty sure they'll beg us for all the crap we have  ;)

I would mention it to some of the sparks working on my place but as you have witnessed their handywork is not what you would want to hang your reputation on.....

You could just work more than your usual 30 hours a week and not take anyone on.......  ::) ;D ;D :y

Having seen what the last bloke did at your place, I would barely trust him to replace a lamp.

It's not 30 hours at all, we stop at mid-day on friday's regardless because that's when the pub opens..... so it's only 27 hours per week  ;D

Thanks for the good wishes HC  :y

Ironically I guess I should also be thanking the neanderthal whose comments invoked the chain reaction that brought this all about, alas that isn't going to happen for as long as I think they truly believe what they wrote (and I have no doubt they are that thick as to believe the crap they wrote).

On the plus side though, a big thank you to J & co, because without that chance exchange a few weeks ago, we (my business partner & I) wouldn't have been quaffing the fine wines & shit we were on today  :y :y :y

And 30 hours longer than what you spent looking for Sanjay's desk (or being at your own).

Besides, I thought you was a PAYE bitch now...and I know for fact you ain't pulling even half of what we pay if you are on PAYE with Sly.

Too much paper work with contracting, can't be bothered with it, rather take the 10% cut i got by going perm.

Benifits more than outway the cut, free Sky, health care, sick pay, pension....
