Did you all have a good day?
« on: 25 December 2009, 22:45:36 »

No longer being a family man i had a mega lie in watching top gear repeats, worlds deadliest creatures & trawlermen, eating tea & toast & lastnights cold curry, got a shower, visited friends that the Beasrie performed wedding car duties for & dropped off pressies. My little 1 yr old god daughter got a Tigger to go with her ee aw & Jack got a hot wheels loop the loop & a set of cars....think i'll buy myself one!!!!
I got a bottle of smirnoff, some STIG shower stuff, a doody mouse which is a car that has lighting front & rear lights, a cheque from the parentage & two clipper lighters....not the usual, one is brushed steel & the other is chrome. They come in metal cases & have adjustable flame at the bottom of the lighter. (ebay metal by clipper).
Tomorrow i'm off to Sussex to see on old mate, my grown up son then spend the night with my parents.
Beastie is checked over & ready. Hope you enjoyed yours, Guy. :y

i had a crap day !we took the dog for a walk to his usual place and as i was going  down the road the temperature started to go up a bit faster than normal !we managed to get to the walking spot .i open the tail gate and jake jumps out and jayne the boss takes him for his walkies ! i lifted the bonnet and there was a bit of steam coming from the back of the engine drivers side .when it cleared i noticed  one of :y the heater  hoses had come off and it was still throwing coolant out .i managed to shove it back od and push the locking tab back .i had some coolant in the back of the car and filled the header tank up .its been ok ever since .i have had a lot of problems with the heaters not getting hot .its all sorted now its blowing lovely and hot again and there is not as much pressure in all the hoses .we was lucky we was'nt on our way to my daughters in lincolnshire .she wanted us to go for dinner ?i said why have you not got a turkey  pleased you had a good day guy::) ::) ::) :y

That was a close one Pete, glad you've got it sorted..... :y
It looks as though the snow is starting to go so hopefully travelling about the country should be easier, but nothing can be done to stop the drunkards except a long walk home maybe...

Got up early with Liz. She went off to do her rounds, but she didn't know what time she'd finish so i had a steady drive up to Mrs H's for a visit & xmas dinner with my adopted family. We sat & chatted while our dinner went down (i was nearly asleep ;D).
Came away at around 17:00 & arrived home at 19:30. Pleased with my Mig, she ran smoothly as ever & returned a respectable 42 ave (i wasn't hanging about either) :y :y :y

Liz was down at her daughter's playing games, they invited me down, but i was nak from driving so refused the invite.

Was crowded but every one pitched togather .
We are now thinking of joining the local gym.
Never know , may have reduced rates for OAP's. Yes we had a very good day

Me and the wife spent yesterday/last night at the youngest daughters and her fella's and had a fantastic day. Went to the pub for a couple of hours while the turkey was cooking then back to his house for a slap up chrissy dinner and too much to drink. He wouldn't let us do a thing which was nice, I fell asleep on the sofa about 10ish last night because I was a bit worse for all the booze. We have just got home to re feed the cat and then its off to the eldest daughters for another Christmas dinner and more booze. I might get to sleep in my own bed tomorrow night with a bit of luck ;D
