tried really hard not to buy another omega, partly due to economy, partly due to handling issues. Tried really hard too, cant find anything else with similar toy levels, not for similar money.

twas over 18 months ago now though, time flys and all that. ;D
have been very un impressed with the vag cars i've encountered. polo(abs and general engine management issues)  golf(wonky climate control, road noise and wind noise from poorly fitting doors) a3 a4 both caused motion sickness in me and the Mrs, turano(?) blown hg.

generally seem overly fussy with sensors? or is it just me?

A lot of it is down to the Omega reporting faults when they occur, rather than burying them until the next main dealer shafting service IMHO.

Having said that, I think I've had more electrical hassles with the Omega than any other car I've owned. One of those was French, too. :o

I really cannot fault my MV6 for reliability.  Its let me down once (OK, and most inconvenient time!).  Other than that, its been excellent - everything works, always has.  I suspect bodywork will send it to the great scrapyard in the sky. It only ever gets upgrades or service items replaced.

With my current financial and employment situation, the Omega will have to stay until it falls apart.

Thereafter, I'll be looking for a mobility scooter. :)
