I stand corrected if any gays crApple lovers know better

Different firmware versions too, but, most important, screen size & res has stayed the same, Gen1 apps still work on Gen3....

Thats the advantage of crApple's 'closed' system - as they have to authorise each app before release, they can control things easy.

crApple get away with such antics - if any other company did similar, they would get hammered.  Imagine buying a Dell laptop, but only being able to run Dell approved software on it.

My HTC Android powered phone can.... take picture, upload to dropbox, take link, post in the forum.

Just wish Google would get their ass in gear and release Navigation for the UK

oh, not so unique then :( ;D ;D ;D

similar with nav on this thing...it does have maps but doesnt seem to have turn by turn, tomtom style.

dont think tt will ever work on it although they do seem to have a plug in to allow google maps to work, maybe they can do same with tt? but for now, all i can do is wait for software to become avealable. Sigh!

turn by turn is something android is really lacking, there is 'CoPilot' but thats £30.... Google Navigation will be free, and it looks brilliant. There was a hack to get it working in the UK, but G released a patch to bugger it  :(

Utterly useless having google navigation - reliant on a permement data connection. Also hits into your data allowance hard.

£30 ain't much for a big app such as copilot
