as said, i'm not watching it for the presenter.
But as you've asked,(and as if you didnt know) RK did play Grant, one half of the gay boy duo, the Mitchel brothers in Gayenders.
He left the soap and as if on the back of his tough boy image started a series on sky one called Ross Kemp on gangs. "FFS" i thought, without really watching it, what a tosser.
But then he did Ross Kemp on/in(?) Afganistan, which came accross my radar as it was in HD. Fascinating imo, he took a camera out on patrol with uk marines and scots guards in helmand province. A real insight into what they are up against, ied's, ambush, snipers, all while hunting Alkieda. Ive not been in the services but it looked like hard core front line stuff to me. Bullets really where flying. 50 cal machine guns, calling in air strikes from the u.s air fource, the lot. Scary stuff.
This is his next project, Gaza! Its not quite as deep as i first thought as this ones a 2 part series, Afganistan was a much longer series, 10 maybe? and i assumed this would be similar, so when the first programme showed him meeting masked hamas gun men, one with a suicide bomb vest on, i thought break me, hes this far into their organisation already. Next episode is from the isrealy side. Its an insight into life in Gaza, from both sides, after the recent Isreally invassion. Dont let the name put you off.
