you could keep the bumper and just drill the holes for the washers, but still not idea, should get a big discount on that being accident damage.

If it has had a bodge job on that fix though, whats to say they have not 'edited' the millage too?  :-/

well spotted....  it does indeed look like it's been front ended and cheaply bodge repaired... 


if i point out the faults....  like the bumper and what not.... and if the inner wing members look unwrinkled....  what do we reckon a fair offer would be, bearing in mid  the bumper and washer jets system has to be replaced?

gonna be a costly repair.

Don't know if it's the way that interior photo has been taken (trick of the light) but that airbag (steering wheel) looks newer that the rest of the interior. :-/

If you're driving I'd come, I'll check in a minute I'm not busy. And as you know I'm not far away. I know a fair bit about facelifts so hopefully could pick up any faults etc.

It's also got an NCDC2011 head unit which wasn't standard fit, should be an NCDC2013 for UK spec cars.

Omega prices are still low, an 03 mig, 2.2 went on ebay for £821. That might be a bit expensive.

saloon prices are generally much lower than estate prices.....   


getting frustrated now by how few estates are around within my desired parameters....   

now also starting to look at Bmw 5 series, Mercs, and so on....


basically want a 6 cylinder luxury large estate .....  love to have a miggy elite again....   but .... if there aint none , there aint none....   i can't even see any on the common auction catalogues....   


although there's a 3.2 MV6 in oldham....  but they want £2,5K for it....   i'd go that far for an elite with all the bells and whistles probably...  but maybe not an MV6


what can i say...   i'm a picky whiney idiot really...

phoned the dodgy elite garage this morning....  and gave them the bad news....


might call em back and offer them £500

called them back to see if they'd accept an offer ...  "nothing we can do about the price" , nor would entertain fixing the issues which affect the vehicles suitability for sale ...  despite being told i'd pay the asking price if ALL the issues were resolved...    which i translate to being "f*** off, we'll find a sucker somewhere and hope he/she doesn't find out we've skinned him"

which i follow up as me wondering if there's some trading standards geezer somewhere who'd like to run a sting operation on them??

and , for that matter wondering if their behavior is entirely in keeping with the RMI badge they so proudly display
