Where to get torx sockets
« on: 25 March 2007, 11:19:01 »

I lost nearly all mine at the cambelt event, incl E9, E10, E11, E12, all of which I need tomorrow :(

Where could I pick some up today for reasonable cost?

I think most people lost something or other that day. For some it was just tools, for others their sense of balance  ;)

Might I sudgest getting this one:

http://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/product/details/pro151-29-pce-metric-socket-set

It has all the bits you have lost plus includes a number of the star drive bits required for head removal and re-fitting.....so if your existing ones break during the bolt tightening process.....you have a spare....

I have a Halfords rail, I think its something like E10 to E20, not sure. Its only 3/8 drive, but you are welcome to borrow.

There is a E20 1/2" in my camlock kit as well.

I think I'm going to have to take you up on that Jaime... I've lost so many tools I need to get some money up together and go shopping! I could also do with borrowing your angle gauge! I promise I'll bring it all back safe and sound... hopefully in the Elite!!!!
