London roads....
« on: 08 January 2010, 16:35:07 »

I would like to go into London tomorrow but I have heard the roads are awful due to the snow.  I'll be coming from the M3 going around the M25 to the Excel center.  Anyone here know what those roads are like?  BBC is as useful as a chocky fireguard ;D

TIA  :y

got the same trek to do myself tomorrow at 9am  :(

Brackley to Osterley, which is just past Heathrow.

Main roads are fairly clear, A43 is two lanes, M40 is 2 lanes as well but looks usable, suspect its same story with M25/M4

I have travelled 3/4 of the M25 today and some of the larger roads in the city area and you will find the roads are ok,  it is only the small side roads that are slushy and care is needed. M25 is compleatly clear and at full speed, but they were gritting again this afternoon. Hope this is of help.
