Do you lot actually consider my posts as porn.  Never once has a muff been seen and maybe 2 posts with bare nipples (Remember the Air Conditioning Thread)

Most posts have the NWS warning.

Most pictures on Page 3 show more than the posts I do.

I give in, I really do.  :-/

In the main, I dom agree with you.  there are worse things seen in a newsagents, not on the top shelf.  Further, any young person with a modicum of computer knowledge can access stuff that would have been, in my yoof, only available in a rubber mac type emporium down a back alley off the High Street.

That said, its a car forum.  'Tastefully and artistically taken' photo's are one thing but smutt and porn are somewhat else.  For me, near the knuckle is almost fine (page 3 etc) but anything else that wouild perhaps cause offense to more mature minded folks is not.  What I look at in my own time out of OOF is one thing and what I want to see on here is something perhaps entireley different.  Sorry.....   :-[

i'm the first to admit that they should be some sort of control. at the end of the day. i've a 14 year old lad but on the other hand, not been able too say words like sh*t is going a bit too far  :(

at the end of the day, it would give the lads / lasses who use this forum a chance to have a adult conversation / laugh without offending those who may be offended

if it offends you .............. don't enter

You shouldn't have to 'not enter' sections, people should respect that there are people with different standards.
I don't think anyone minds a bit of swearing in the context of a conversation but people were going beyond that and it wasn't on.

What we have works perfectly well until people start to question it! >:(
[/highlight]  ljay, do you have a problem with me ( a member of the public) on a public forum asking a question ?

No problem, just don't see the point in questioning something thats been done to death!
I think you are being disrespectful to the admin team who work so hard to give us OOF, they run it as they see best, its their decision not yours!

I'm not the least bit offended by any of the soft-core pictures I've seen posted on OOF.

I am, however, slightly miffed that someone thinks I might be even vaguely interested in Monkey Magazine.   :)

I wouldn't have mentioned it if this thread hadn't been here.  I just don't look at it. :)

Just jumping in here, I don't worry too much  about content, I can choose to ignore it, not one firces me to read a thread if I do not want to. What I appreciate, and many members do it, is the NWS warning :y  there are times when Miss Vamps is looking over my shoulder and I simply ignore those till she has gone, I am sure other members are in similar situations. :y :y

Thats how I saw see it.  I hate porn as such, but I do like to see the beuaty of a nicely proportioned female, plus it allows the imagination to work wonders when they are partially dressed.

But as you will have noticed there have not actually been many posted in the last few weeks, if any at all as I cant remember.

Any way, I have moved on, I think the music videos on youtube are far sexier, and we all listen to usic in our cars, dont we.   ::)

i'm not one for watching porn myself although i do like the pics skrunts puts up, nothing offends me(even calling me a sheep shagger) unless its directed at me personally, and that is very hard to do. as others said this is a car forum with various topics which is adequate enough in my opinion. and as said if you think it will offend do not put it up.

Don't take it personally!
The point as I see it is that anything posted is fine so long as peoples right to object is respected (which you do). :y

I dont Ljay, but there is only me being refered to in that direction.  No loss to me whatso ever.

That's because you're the official pornographer ;D :y

been discussed 1000's of times before, can't see it being in the nature of the forum. Would also be an increased headache, as someone would have to police it to make sure no rules are broken and anything serious offensive is not in there.
