gotta be honest and i agree its way out of order but all these petitions flying about and join the group who likes bacon and so on its gettin daft and when it comes to stuff like this its gone too far for anyone to stop it the gov and the powers that be are too scared to stand in front of anything that could be racist or against letting the poor little muslims having there rights of free speech or actions even if it is against the country there resideing and being looked after in

Where's the text of the Petition?  All it says is that it's against the march on Wootton Bassett.  Which march? What date?

OK, I'm sure the petitioners are concerned about the Islamic group who want to stage a march in memory of the Islamic war dead, but this petition looks like it's been drafted by an 8-year old.  I think I'll wait for something a little bit better defined.

Inclined to agree with you but unfortunately the guy "organising" this is quite smart

He has ALREADY achieved his objective of front page headlines, and is GAURANTEED more of the same......

If the march goes .. there will be cameras by the ton and a massive counter demo that is bound to end in some form of public unrest/fight....  that will be all over the TV and Papers... and young impressionable muslims will be fed the "look what happens when we try to use our democratic rights to protest"

If the march is banned ...  that will be all over the TV and papers as a "victory" for the "white non-muslim" ...  and young impressionable muslims will be fed the "look what happens when we try to use our democratic rights to protest"

He is in a win-win situation from his view point, and whatever happens we .. the "normal people" .. will be the losers.

I tend to agree......im guessing that this planned march wont go ahead anyway.....Entwood may know more...living in that neck of woods....but i heard the guy hasnt even applied for permission to hold the march....yet  :-/
